At the recently concluded 2025 DOMOTEXasia Shanghai Flooring Expo, flooring enterprises from all over the world gathered at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) to attend this industry grand event. As the flagship exhibition in the flooring industry of the Asia-Pacific region, this expo not only provides an excellent platform for the industry to showcase innovative achievements and exchange cutting-edge technologies, but also serves as a crucial engine for promoting the sustainable development of the flooring industry amid the current complex and ever-changing market environment.

This expo was of a grand scale, covering an exhibition area of 210,000 square meters and attracting over 1,600 exhibitors and more than 85,000 professional visitors. During the expo, the venue was bustling with crowds in all major exhibition halls, showcasing a rich and diverse range of flooring products, including multiple categories such as floorboards, carpets, floor mats, and resilient flooring. Beyond product displays, the expo also hosted nearly 40 forum speeches and lectures, covering multi-dimensional market analysis and trend discussions—such as the launch of new industry products, six-dimensional spatial integration, design applications, engineering bulk procurement, and e-commerce product selection. It provided a communication and demonstration platform for domestic and foreign associations, experts, and enterprises.
As a professional manufacturer in the fiberglass mesh sector, our company also actively participated in this grand event. At our booth, we carefully displayed fiberglass mesh products in various specifications and models. These products are based on medium-alkali or alkali-free glass fiber woven fabrics, treated with a special alkali-resistant coating, and possess a series of outstanding properties.
In terms of physical properties, fiberglass mesh boasts extremely high strength, capable of withstanding large tensile forces without breaking. During the on-site product demonstration session, we conducted simple and intuitive tensile tests, allowing visitors to witness the high-strength performance of fiberglass mesh firsthand, which won praise from many attendees. Meanwhile, it also exhibits excellent flexibility, enabling easy bending without damage—this allows it to be applied flexibly in various complex construction environments.
In terms of chemical properties, fiberglass mesh has excellent alkali resistance. In the construction industry, materials such as cement are alkaline, and ordinary materials are prone to corrosion in such an environment. However, our fiberglass mesh, relying on its unique alkali-resistant coating and raw material characteristics, can maintain stability for a long time in a strong alkaline environment, effectively extending the service life of construction materials. Additionally, fiberglass mesh also has good chemical stability, with resistance to most chemical substances and no deterioration when in contact with common chemical reagents.
Fiberglass mesh has an extremely wide range of application fields. At this expo, we focused on introducing its various application scenarios in the construction sector. In terms of wall reinforcement, embedding fiberglass mesh into the wall plaster layer can effectively disperse stress and prevent wall cracks—whether for new house decoration or old house renovation, it can significantly improve the stability and durability of the wall. When pasting decorative materials such as ceramic tiles and marble, using fiberglass mesh as a reinforcement layer can greatly enhance the bonding strength, prevent the falling off of decorative materials, and ensure home safety. In terms of waterproofing and moisture-proofing, fiberglass mesh applied in external wall insulation systems can form an effective waterproof layer, preventing water penetration, protecting the building structure from moisture erosion, and extending the overall service life of the building.
During the expo, our booth attracted many visitors to stop by. Many building material distributors, engineering contractors, and architectural designers showed strong interest in fiberglass mesh. They asked in detail about the product’s performance parameters, specification sizes, pricing system, and supply cycle. Members of our professional team always answered questions for every visitor with enthusiasm and professionalism, and conducted in-depth exchanges with them on application cases and solutions of fiberglass mesh in actual projects.
Through communication with customers, we learned that the current market demand for high-quality, high-performance fiberglass mesh continues to grow. As the construction industry’s requirements for construction quality and environmental protection continue to increase, fiberglass mesh—as a green, environmentally friendly, and high-performance construction material—has broad market prospects. After understanding the product, many customers expressed their intention to further cooperate, and some even reached preliminary cooperation agreements with us on the spot. These cooperation intentions cover multiple fields, including material supply for large-scale construction projects and establishing long-term cooperative relationships with distributors to expand market channels.

Furthermore, we also actively participated in the industry forums and technical exchange meetings held concurrently with the expo. During these events, we discussed the development trends of fiberglass mesh and the entire construction materials industry together with experts, scholars, and peer enterprises in the sector. It is widely recognized that fiberglass mesh will move toward a direction of higher performance and multi-functionality in the future. For instance, efforts will be made to develop products with higher strength, better weather resistance, and special functions such as antibacterial and mildew-proof properties. Meanwhile, with the continuous advancement of intelligent manufacturing technology, the production process of fiberglass mesh will become more intelligent and automated, so as to improve production efficiency and the stability of product quality. Through these exchange activities, we not only broadened our horizons but also obtained valuable reference for the company’s future product R&D and market strategy formulation.
Participating in the 2025 DOMOTEXasia Shanghai Flooring Expo was an extremely valuable experience for our company.
